Renovation and Addition to Poolhouse in Marietta

Our Marietta, GA clients frequently host dinners and events at their pool house for their many children and ever-growing number of grandchildren. They needed a larger dining room, kitchen, and gathering spaces.  We knew we would be altering the roofline, so we took the opportunity to propose a large dormer at the existing loft area, opening onto a rooftop balcony that would overlook their beautifully landscaped pool and patios. The design incorporates the existing palette of rustic natural materials and old Mediterranean sensibility, with rough-hewn timber beams and natural stone inspired by their property and existing structures.
